NOURISH SUBSCRIPTION BOXES + GIVEAWAY

Whether it’s makeup, skin care, or eats; there’s no denying that subscription boxes are THE THING right now! Who doesn’t love getting mail? And what better way to try something new than receive a carefully curated box of goodies. Recently I received the April Nourish Box, and here’s what I’ve got to say.

Nourish. curated wellness is a quarterly subscription box (based out of Halifax) “that
was born out of a desire for nutritionist pals Stephanie McWilliams, RD
and Emily Bush to share their favorite snacks and superfoods with clients and friends”.
The contents of each box are a
surprise, and SUPER healthy – which is what keeps it super fun! You never know what you’re going to get, but you do know that it’s good for you! Whether it’s a gift for yourself, a friend, or a loved one these boxes are great for the foodie(s) in your life. Subscriptions vary in terms of commitment, so you can just test the waters and try one box for $50, and then upgrade to a year later (for a discount) if you so choose.
Personally I LOVE this idea! I think it’s always fun to try new foods and products (duh I’m a blogger), but what I love about the subscription box is that it forces you (wait for it there’s a bad pun coming here) to think outside the box.

I’m a huge fan of using what’s in my house (waste not want not right?), and so if there’s something in this box you better believe I’m going to eat it or cook with it! Say for instance you’ve never tried coconut milk (yes you’re living under a large rock), and you want to try it in some recipes. You better believe you’re going to hit the inter webs (hopefully shortpresents.com) for some recipes that include this product.  And love that it encourages you to explore, and create something new. Who doesn’t love new experiences? I mean they are awkward as heck, but that’s kind of the fun and excitement in it right?

Like the slapchop guy says we need to “stop having a boring life”, and it’s SO easy to keep making and buying the same things. We get so busy we don’t always have time to comb the grocery store for “new foods”. I love this idea, and I think if you’re into food you will too! Who knows you might just find you’re new favorite thing in there 🙂

The only thing that would make this box better is a list of where you can purchase all the items that’s included in the box. I don’t know if you other boxes offer this, but I think it would be great so that you could go out and buy the products (once you figure out you LOVE them).

If you’re interested in giving the nourish boxes a go (and you should) you’re in luck because the lovely folks at Nourish are offering Short Presents readers a special discount! Use code “SHORT” at check out and save $7.

And one lucky Short Presents reader (open to Canada only) will get their very own Nourish Box to test drive themselves! Enter using the Rafflecopter Widget below. Good Luck!
